At the top of the page you will see “Educational” in the menu. Over time I am adding educational content, and improving the articles I already posted with imagery and videos, or corrections and clarification as needed.
The mission of this content is to provide a good resource to help others make sense of the various products and options available to you. Camera equipment and all the various accessories is expensive, so understanding the basics helps put everything into context, hopefully saving you money. As with most things, knowledge is power, in this case power over your pocket, allowing you to get the most from your gear without going broke due to clever packaging or marketing.
So, please, peruse the articles, they will span the gamut from very basic beginner info to advanced topics and concepts. There should be something there for everyone. If there is anything you are interested in seeing that isn’t there already please let me know.
